I By Post
The Institute maintains a post office box for matters of a more formal character. Letters of bequest, signed instruments, and correspondence the sender wishes to be archived in the correspondence files should be addressed to:
The American Institute for MichaelsGeneral Office
Post Office Box 1972
Boston, Massachusetts — 02114
United States of America
We regret that the post office box is, owing to a longstanding peculiarity of the postal service, not visited every day. Items of urgency should be sent by other means.
II In Person
The Institute does not, as a matter of course, receive visitors at its seat. Visiting members and credentialed researchers may arrange access to the correspondence files by prior appointment with the Recording Secretary. Casual drop-in is firmly discouraged.
