AIM The American Institute for Michaels

About

Dedicated to the general betterment of all Michaels.

The Institute exists to connect Michaels across geography, faith, and profession — and to strengthen our communities through honesty, excellence, and compassion.

I Mission

The American Institute for Michaels is dedicated to the general betterment of all Michaels. We connect and support people who share this given name — encouraging them to strengthen their communities, pursue excellence, and act with honesty and compassion in their work and civic life.

II Origin

It started the way many great organizations have started — in the freshman dorm room of two creative and innovative polymaths. Michael Doyle and Michael Power founded AIM as the first body solely dedicated to those who share its forename, in the conviction that a common name could be a generative axis around which to organize cross-disciplinary community.
